A long time ago…
It seems all the best stories start this way. Including my own.
A long time ago, in the spring of 1977, I was 13 years old and Star Wars had just hit the big screen. I asked my parents if we could see it, but my dad was recovering from surgery, so it would be a while before the family could go.

Star Wars has officially met high-fashion.
Black Milk unveiled its new line of Star Wars-based clothes and swimwear today, which takes the characters and imagery of Star Wars and repurposes them in fresh, creative ways. Watch the trailer below to get a look at the designs, including an Artoo-Detoo one-piece bathing suit and Han and Chewie leggings.

All of Lucasfilm Animation 2012
Season Five.
I can hardly believe it. When I first arrived at Lucasfilm and George and I had our first meetings to discuss the The Clone Wars, he spoke of doing at least a hundred episodes. Well, in Season Five we will pass the 100 episode mark, and keep right on going. At the time, back in 2005, it was hard to imagine 100 episodes; we had a very small staff back then, and barely an idea of what the show might look like, or how we would achieve some of the ambitious visuals we were exploring.

Saturday, October 6, is Star Wars Reads Day, and I’m happy to be part of the celebration. Fans will be gathering at bookstores across the U.S. to promote reading and to pick up some fun freebies, and some of the events will feature Star Wars writers like me and costumed characters from the 501st Legion, the Rebel Legion, the Mandalorian Mercs, and the R2 Builders Club.
