While we all love Star Wars for its positive message, swashbuckling thrills, and seemingly endless amount of Cool Stuff (lightsabers, Jedi, X-wings, blasters, the list goes on…), it’s easy to forget that an essential part of the Star Wars mix is fear. It’s one of the tenets of the dark side, and as such, it plays a big role in the films.
