I've never read it, but the panels you showed here look absolutely gorgeous; if I do find it, I may actually like it better than the movie itself. I remember when the first issue (A New Hope) was released and I immediately purchased a copy as I was curious to see how a film that I love read in the Manga format. I definitely enjoyed the series and your column reminds me of how much fun it was to read the adventures of Luke, Han, Leia, and the gang in a new interpretation! It also reminds me that I need to track down issues 4 for both the Empire and Jedi series as I never got to complete them.
