For me it was trying to figure out how to assemble an X-Wing at Celebration IV after the tool box didn’t make it from the truck to the convention floor, and there weren’t any ladders available. I looked at one of my fellow crewers and said… “What I really need is three Wookiees and a Jawa, and a really big hammer.”

What I got was a Gregor, a Birrer and a Reaper (3 guys over 6 feet w/ strong backs), and a floor manager who managed to scrounge up one small ladder and a mallet. Rebels may be “rag-tag,” but we’re pretty good at making the impossible a reality.

I would LOVE to work behind the scenes on a Star Wars Celebration. It looks stressful, hectic, and suicidal… and I would love every minute of it!!

I remeber 2007 Celbration IV in LA. (It was my first time in the USA)
We where moved out the convention centre by the Police.
Soon we would find out there was a “bomb-treath”
The found an unatended Gymbag in front of the centre.
We went to a nearby hotel bar to have drinks, and saw on TV what was happening.
As soon as we knew it was safe for everyone the relief came and soon the jokes.

Imagine watching TV in your hotel room and finding out there was a bomb treath……and then you start thinking, where did I left my old Gymbag…. did I have it when Igot into the Taxi…..?

Scarry then, funny now!
And now to think I live only 70/80 min drive from the next celebration! (Germany) can’t wait as it will be my 3d celebration!

the snow was Celebration 3 in 2005. i remember because i got called home that Friday due to my husband’ s illness and they couldn’t fly him to the hospital in Michigan due to the snow
