Season Five of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is back in full swing and Ahsoka made her grand entrance last Saturday in “A War on Two Fronts.” I think many people were surprised because we got to see a different side of Ahsoka. Usually she’s so focused and strong, but last week, we got to see her lose a little bit of that focus and caught a glimpse of her vulnerable side. She has these feelings for Lux and she is very confused by them…even Anakin questions her lack of focus.
This episode seems to have the audience divided, and they either like this storyline for Ahsoka or they don’t. I’m going to go back to what I asked fans to do way back in Season One: have patience and just go along for the ride. Ahsoka goes on an amazing journey this season, and I promise that you won’t be disappointed. I have become so attached to Ahsoka and, while I have to keep this blog spoiler-free, I can tell you that I am very happy with her evolution this year. So stick with us, and I look forward to discussing her storylines with you on here on the Official Star Wars Blog all season long!

Wow! Hold up! Did you just say evolution?! That means she doesn’t die?! I hope Dave doesn’t get mad but thank you SO much if that was a hint! I’m sitting at my house grinning like crazy ’cause I was so scared Ashoka was going to die. Loved “A war on two fronts”! My siblings were SO confused that Adi Gallia was in the background in the Jedi Council. I had to look up the episode on wookiepedia before they believed me about “Revival” happening after “A war on two fronts”. A jealous Ashoka was so cute!
I was confused about Adi dying anyway. I thought I saw her die in episode 3. This seems like the 2nd time Filoni has messed the story up. First with Boba Fett and now with Adi Gallia.
I like the direction. After the CW movie, I thought Ahsoka was the CW’s Jar Jar (it was the Sky Guy thing…), but I really like the character now. I think most of us have been wondering how the relationship aspect works for Jedi because other than Anakin we haven’t seen it. Combine that with having to be a Jedi AND a teenager and it should be interesting.

I’m taking this as a positive hint that Lux will soon be out of the picture and Ahsoka will not disgrace herself and will stick to the Jedi Code. Thank goodness!
don’t take your hopes up that high I can tell they are trying to pull the audience back together there might be a mix (e.g Ahsoka might break up with lux) or a sacrefise or just go into hiding again like the episode before all I know that this will be an interesting side plot still there is still the threat that this might change Ahsoka’s character too much which will anger some of the audience

No one is a fan of Ahsoka more than me, but I just think that unless she plays a part in the live action show (should the Force ever will it into existence), her character needs a STRONG, DEFINITIVE exit from the saga. She really actually deserves that. I don’t want her to die SOON by any means, but her blaring absence from Episode III needs to be satisfyingly explained. NOBODY should watch Episode III and ask: “Where’s Ahsoka? Is she gonna show up again?”
I think Ahsoka’s death would be an obvious contributing factor leading Anakin to the dark side. Her death would obviously weigh heavily on him, but a significant amount of time should pass between her death in Clone Wars and Episode III. Ideally, I think Ahsoka (if she is to die) should come to her death in a season finale. Then, in the next season (which I’d imagine to be the last one), Anakin would have that entire season to painstakingly adjust to her death, and we fans could adjust to life without Ahsoka (as sad a sentiment as that may be), in the Star Wars saga. There’s gotta be a transition time–a cooling off period–between Ahsoka’s death and Episode III in order for things to mesh well.
I don’t think Ahsoka will die this season, though with Maul around again, everybody’s death rates go up a little.
I’m kind of worried about this fight between Ahsoka and what looks like Asajj Ventress in the Season 5 trailer. Something about that fight had an epic, game-changing feel to it. I consider Ahsoka and Ventress to be pretty much equal in power, so that fight could go either way. It could be that Ventress is the one killed in that fight too. My favorite theory is that Maul kills Ahsoka, and a Force-tantrumed Anakin goes POSTAL on the Zabrak. Maybe Palpatine doesn’t succeed in personally disposing of Maul like so many think he will. Maybe Palpatine manipulates Anakin and Maul into a confrontation to see which is truly the more worthy potential apprentice. This “kill two mynocks with one stone” approach is just the type of thing Sidious would do. Maul kills Ahsoka, goading Anakin to give into his hatred and feed off the dark side to overwhelm and pulverize Maul. Symbolically, this would make sense, as Anakin would’ve essentially killed BOTH of Sidious’s former apprentices before claiming that mantle for himself. It could happen!
I think Ashoka should die. Not soon though! I love having Ashoka in the clone wars and my favorite episodes are ones with her in it. But Ashoka’s death would contribute to Anakin’s feeling of loss in Revenge of the Sith. By then he will have lost his Mother, his wife, and his two best friends in all the universe.

just a small review on the episode back then I find it really interesting because when most of the audience divided into want lux or not instead of giving half of the audience what they want you were trying to join them back up again by making this interesting and different from normal ones I find that episode “a war on 2 fronts” creative and with the rivalry of steela that just got me off guard (surprising) making, me at least, see how this will turn out. I sense a great ending with Ahsoka’s side plot (either death or any other thing)

Not to be mean or anything, But SOME people DO like Steela. I think you are being really rude. I think she has a strong character and a great person for guerrillas everywhere to look up to. And I have always appreciated someone who knows how to aim. OK, fine. She DOES have a weak spot for Lux. And Lux for Steela. But that adds an interesting twist in the story. Lux falling for Steela and Steela for Lux and Ashoka noticing and getting jealous of Steela and Steela for Ashoka and poor Ashoka is just so confused. And Steela and Ashoka’s rivalry in the begining is something to add the befuddling Lux-Steela-Ashoka triangle.Though she is NOT, by any terms, an ewok of very little brain.( Although ewoks are not, in general, of very little brain at all.) I think Ashoka and Lux’s friendship was kinda only romantic in Ashoka’s eyes. Now Lux meets this bold, strong, green-eyed, leader of a woman and… well…

I think that it’s an interesting predicament to go forward with Ahsoka and Lux. Many might no realize it, but the Jedi live a very lonely life by committing their loyalty towards the Jedi Order and not marrying anybody. And also an interesting fact that many of you might not know, is how their are more Jedi’s than simply Anakin, whom have had some type of romance in the past. Obi-Wan had one with Satine, and he decided to continue his life as a Jedi. So did Qui-Gon. But these are different times now. Will Ahsoka’s romance play a key into how she manages to survive Order 66? We don’t know, but it’s an interesting possibility.

Look, Ginny, i was just saying whats on my point of view, no need to get mad. i became a luxsoka fan, at first i didnt like the pairing, but after watching friend in need i sorta got into it until steela came and i began to feel conflicted by the interference of Luxsoka. unlike some, i havent given up on luxsoka when steela came along. when she died,….i actually became surprised that it would happen.
OK, sorry. I just love Steela and never really caught on to luxsoka with a lot of enthusiam. I thought Lux and Steela made a great pair. I was sooooooooo sad when she died. Then I looked at all the comments and got really angry. Cyber-bully me if I start e-yelling at you again, OK?
