I'm sorry to say the "Surprise and Excitement" was from about ten people as the rest of us were shaking our heads going, are you kidding me? It might be great and we won't know for sure until then, but This was my first celebration, and I was saying through the whole thing "Where do i sign up for CVII?" sorry guys, no dice.

This was the absolute worst thing of the entire Celebration. Total waste of time, and if we are to be honest, James Arnold Taylor had to say goodbye and thanks for coming about four times before people realized it was not a joke, and it was over. The best part was the wrap up video that they showed (though the audio was awful and you could not hear a thing anyone was saying during it), and I would really like to see it posted somewhere, either here or on YouTube. Still, for having it so jammed that they literally had to escort people to the bathroom prior to the show, and then to everyone kneeling on stage begging for some awesome info and then... Germany. Don't get me wrong, I fully agree with it being mentioned, but that was it? 99% of the people in that room will not go and cannot go. This was my second Celebration (and one of countless conventions in general) and the four days were, of course, near perfect, and I wish it could have gone on for another four, but to even pretend that the crowd was excited when this was over is absurd in the extreme, and walking out all you heard was laughter and negative comments. Still, anyone know where that video can be seen? That was great!

I have to agree with the above comments. My kids sat in line for this for 2 hours, letting me go to the Del Rey Essentials panel (one of my favorites). I ducked out after I got to ask my question to join my kids. All weekend they mentioned CVII, but all we got was Germany next summer. I'd love to go to Germany, but not for a Star Wars con. I was hoping for Kathleen Kennedy to show up and give us a clue as to why she'd leave her own company to take over Lucasfilm. But...nothing. I wish my kids would have spent their 3 hours shopping in the main hall and that I would have stayed til the end of the Essentials panel. Other than that, we had a great time at CVI and hated to leave.

This was the biggest waste of time. I could have gone to Star Wars in 60 minutes. Instead, I wasted 2.5 hours in line for nothing! Otherwise CVI was great, but whoever put this thing together should be absolutely embarrassed. There were a lot of angry people afterwards.

Don't advertise this event as something you do not want to miss and then tell me go to Germany.

i agree entirely w/ Brad E. All weekend long, this panel was hyped as "the one not to miss," as there was going to be some special guest.

Instead, it was the biggest waste of time of the entire weekend. Video montage of the weekend--i was there, so who cared? 3D of the next two movies--meh, we all knew it was happening anyway. And then the German announcement--again, we knew there would be another one, so rather anti-climatic.

The biggest pisser for me personally was the fact that i skipped the final Bounty Hunt to sit in line for over an hour for this panel.

Now those Bounty Hunts were hands down the highlight of the entire weekend, as far as i was concerned.

Maybe a headful of selfish disappointment deadened the roar on the crowd, because where I was sitting there was a lot of excitement. Then again I was sitting near some happy Europeans and passport-wielding Americans who were thrilled to take the party overseas to celebrate with distant friends. These guys though somehow managed to remember the whole point of the previous four days.

I dont know how whoever wrote this could put that the audience was excited . Sure at first the place was crazy especially after a host mentioned George. The trailers were amazing then it was time for a big announcement....you won't have to wait a year for the next celebration it will be held in Germany 7 months!!! Other then the horrible band playing it was dead silent. People were still in their seats confused was that it no George and the next celebration in germany?!?! As a man behind me it what a shot to the groin. Surea celebration in germany is fine but two major problems you are making a announcement that is supposed to excite the fans at the celebration, um telling a merican rowd that thave 7 months to get passports and somehow save up thousands of dollars to go was dumb. All I heard leaving was how bad this was and how it was the worst one ever, and I agree huge key down after an amazing four days.

Finally Celebration 2 Europe! I've been wainting for so long! For this moment (my little green, friend)
Too bad it doesn't return to any contry(s) in Great Britain, I wonder why English would be so much more easy! I really dislike the German language, but I really want to go! I have no idea how to speak German so how will this end up?!
Blast it!
