I started reading Star Wars with the Young Jedi Knights series when I was a teenager (I'm 31 now). I wish Zekk, Tenel Ka and Lowbacca would be given more of a role in the novels.

Character with most potential from expanded universe was Anakin Solo. Given the powers he had exhibited as a child and then in NJO, he should have been the man. Decision to kill him off was awful - I don't care who made it. Hopefully Ben Skywalker won't have to die prematurely.

Having just started the entire NJO series, I was instantly hooked. The 3 Solo children are possibly my favorite characters in the entire world of the EU. Especially Jaina! She is the very essence of the quintessential SW character. I'm currently on Balance Point. Tyers does such a great job bringing more depth and emotion to the Yuuzhan Vong and their many organic and bio-engineered everything. I also have all of the e-books, and plan on reading the whole series in order. These authors are all wonderful, and have created an immaculate science-fiction universe unique to anything else I've ever read. Kudos, guys and gals!
