DisneyParksBlog recently updated with several photos of their 2012 Star Wars Weekends figure series which will give Star Wars favorites Cad Bane, Commander Cody, Aurra Sing, General Grievous, and Jawas that magical Disney spin!
From Disney:
“We’ve been working on the wave five figures for more than two years,” explained Cody [Hampton, developer for Toys and Games]. “We originally wanted to release them last year at Star Wars Weekends. With so much great new development for Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at that time, we pushed out [the action figures] release date to spring 2012. I’m thrilled to see these figures arriving soon as they are some of my favorites.”
The new figures will be available exclusively at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort sometime this month (they will not be available at the Disney Parks Online Store) — sounds like a good reason to squeeze a Disney Park trip into your summer plans this year!

I was just at Disney World. What a bummer that I missed them.
Wow, I never thought those characters would get the Disney treatment. Too bad their overpriced.
What? I thought I had seen these at Downtown Disney just this year. Have these not been out before. I remember thinking the Donald one was really cool.
i am not going to buy these but i think they look a bit like they’re making fun of starwars
Oh my gosh, Stitch as General Grievous?! My brother would love this! XD

star wars weekends are not fair! i am going to disney in october and i was looking foward to this! it is my dream to meet anakin and luke! but now they are in may and june! i am angry!!!!
Yeah, I agree with Joel. They’re just sort of creepy and totally poking fun at Star Wars.
This might not be the right place to ask but I couldn’t find any where else.
I will be attending Star Wars weekend this year. This is my first. My real interest is the Hoopla and Dancing with the Star Wars Stars. Where is this event shown and where is the best area to be to watch? From last years map, it looked like it took place at the Hat but watching videos, I see the decor from the Star Tours.
Thanks for your help.
