We’ve seen Wookiee dogs, AT-AT dogs and Ewok cats, but this is the first Wampa Dog, and he couldn’t be cuter.

Every year Dr. Andrews comes up with a new costume for her dog Chubbs. This year was no exception. Remember the Wampa monster from The Empire Strikes Back, that captures Luke and hangs him upside down in his cave, then Luke uses the force to grab his lightsaber and cut the Wampa’s arm off and escapes? Well, this year Chubbs is the Wampug!
That is my girl Chubbs! She is seriously the most amazing dog ever. She was so patient through the entire process of making this costume for her. Thank you so much for sharing her pictures. We had originally planned to do an AT-AT for a year and a half and when we saw someone else had done it, we had to make a last minute change. Went to the fabric store and as soon as we saw this fabric, the Wampug was born!
OMG!!!! Wampug is the cutest!!! I have a black pug myself and immediately started searching the web for that costume. What a great job you did and he doesn’t even seem to mind it.
This costume is so cute & you did an amazing job making it. I am a beloved pug owner myself & would love to have a costume like this for my little guy. Have you ever considered marketing the costumes you make or any way to purchase one of your costumes such as this one? I would be so very interested in buying the wampug costume.

Awww haha i want to do that to my dog so bad, although while were laughing and “awwwwwing” our dogs are probably thinking, “are you nuts get this thing off of me”!
