Hallmark Gold Crown Stores has its annual Keepsake Ornament Debut event this weekend, Oct 8 & 9, which will include the launch of the highly anticipated LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader ornament.
This comes in addition to this year’s collection of Star Wars ornaments announced in July, which includes “Showdown at the Cantina,” Jedi Master Yoda, and Boba Fett’s Slave I (the limited edition Bossk is sold out!). Check out the 2011 collection!
For those making it to New York Comic-Con October 13-16 this year, an exclusive two pack of astromech droids featuring R2-Q5 and R2-A3 will be sold in limited quantities while supplies last at their booth #110 (see our previous announcement here).

Ok, I know this isn’t related to this post, but we have been given nowhere else to voice our opinions!!
First of all, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the new layout. Well, the layout is fine, but all the things they took away makes me mad!!! Like, the data bank is miniscule now!!!!!!!!!! ALL MY FAVORITE EU CHARACTERS ARE GONE!!! And where am I supposed to read about the character’s I’ve never heard of????? AND TAHIRI VEILA NEVER EVEN GOT HER OWN ENTRY!!! And where the heck did the forums go?!?!?! The old starwars.com was fine!!! If you wanted to change the layout, fine. Just give us back all the awesome stuff all us SW fans come to this website for in the first place!!!

IAM GOING TO ASK MY GRANDMA 4 THAT ORNAMENT
I bought mine as soon as I could So I would have it before it sold out! This is a collectors item that is worth the ca$h. The only thing that could make it better would be making the lightsaber light up and have the sound of a battle and the lightsaber would flash when the Light sabers clash together. God Bless!
This year Hallmark is producing a Lego Darth Vader and Lego Imperial Stormtrooper ornament. Darth will be released in November 2012 and Stormtrooper will be released in October 2012.
