My husband, Robert, daughter,Taylor and myself attended The Builders Summit several years ago in Washington, DC. They were building a R2 together and progressing nicely when Bob took sick 3 years ago. Unfortunately, Bob passed away this past February. Taylor is now in her second year of college and her heart is not into finishing this project without her Dad. His big accomplishment was the B-9 LIS robot he built prior to starting R2D2. We met several nice people through the club and regret not still being able to be involved. Best wishes with your endeavors. Perhaps I will place the unfinished R2 on Ebay.
