I saw it too!! Best. Music. Ever. I sat in the 2nd row while watching in Wichita, Kansas! I didn’t know it, but my band teacher was sitting 3 rows behind me! It was so cool! Why, o why, couldn’t they let us take pictures!?! *Tear, tear* Best. Concert. Ever!!!! EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!! I liked the Leia part. Loved it!! STAR WARS In Concert Rules!!!!!!!!

i’m very excited that SWIC coming to Vancouver,BC ,GM Place! Would s/o pls help in advising about the best wheelchair seating? My two options are:
1a. at front Sect 117 Left side of stage, just above the floor. Are people standing at this event? if so my view will be blocked & no point in buying the closer seats to watch the orchestral players (i am a composer.) if i buy these tix , i plan to sit w/ w/c facing stage/screen.)

1b. Would i be straining neck looking up at screen b/c too close?

2. Sect 316-317 – at back of venue but have more of straight on view but people on stage are blurred & look one inch tall! i would b depending on video screen(s)

Even if u dont know about w/c seating specifically but can give advice in general whether seat @ front or back is better & whether i’d be straining neck looking up at screen b/c too close in Section 117, i’d be very thankful!

I loved the Star Wars: In Concert!!!!!!!! One of the best times of my life! To see Anthony Daniels there, someone who was a part of ALL six films, was breath taking! I am a huge StarWars fan, have been since I was very little and to see that concert and C3P-O was a thrill of a lifetime!!!!! =)

It would have been awesome to be a part of the making of those flims!!

the show was AMAZING!!!!!! i’d been waiting for this since i was a kid. i watch one of the six movies everynight and have since i was a kid. i’ve always loved the music and am glad they had this concert.

I was at the 2pm show, really enjoyed it very much. A great experience, listening to the music live with scenes playing in the background. Any chance of a CD release sometime in the future?

BTW, I have a question – see the Boba Fett costume that was exhibited (Matt has a photo above). Is that the real thing? That chest armor looks like it was painted unto the shirt! I am pretty sure the real thing has actual armor “plates” instead.

I, too, was completely enthralled with Star Wars in Concert last night. I am not a hardcore Star Wars fanatic like many of the audience, but I am a fan who does like the music.

It was hard for me not to like the whole experience, growing up playing in orchestras and symphonies and later working as a theatrical lightening technician. I promised myself I wouldn’t completely nerd out, but as soon as the THX theme played and the drumroll of the 20th Century fox rang out, I immediately began having nerdspasms. It was awesome.

Anthony Daniels was awesome, and the exhibit rocked too.

Nice pics, btw. I was up in one of the penthouses so was in the back of the HP Pavilion and didn’t get nearly as nice pics as you did.

The inner nerd in me is still ECSTATIC.

I was there tonight, the 7 pm show.
Had a great time and thought it was awesome!
Wish the show was in a smaller theater rather than an arena.
