While we wait for Star Wars: In Concert final rehearsals today at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, we are able to share some photos snapped by Lucasfilm associate David Iskra who was on-hand earlier while the orchestra rehearsed and the exhibit was being set up. Just got home from this concert. Star Wars In Concert is incredible. My wife and I literally had tears in our eyes when it was over. Such a grand celebration of the magic of Star Wars.
Im excited for every1 whos a star wars fan, Annaheim u r very lucky!…please tell its coming to chicago.
Worked the Thursday night at Anaheim with 501st as Anakin Skywalker. Show was good. Anthony Daniels is a great narrator. Coming back for the Friday night show.

just got back from the show in anaheim, it was amazing. i was so happy i got tickets to go. it is a must for any starwars fan: the exibits are great and the performace is breath taking. i loved it!
The concert was perfect. I wish I had tickets for the 2nd night @ the Honda Center.
What I want to know is why it is not coming to Illinois or even the Indiana area. I was looking at the price of the tickets, they are reasonable but it would take more money for airfare and hotel fare. I am so sorry that I cannot go. It was different when me and my grandson went to LA for the 30th celebration since this was over a three day period, Guess I will just have to continue to listen and enjoy the second DVD that comes with the sountrack to Ep 3. There are devoted Star Wars fans in Illinois you know!
wookiewoman9 if you really wanted to see it you would. DO OR DO NOT,THERE IS NO CRYING! My self and my 6yr.old daughter drove 3 hours to see the concert. It was amazing and a night I wont forget. Then we drove home. A fan I am. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.
I was at the first Anaheim show. So awesome!!! We were sitting just to the left of the tech booth. I do recommend not getting floor seats though. You will end up with someone way bigger in front of you haha
wookiewoman9, I don’t think the entire concert schedule has been established yet. The Ohio dates have only recently been listed. I would be patient – I fully expect the show to come to Indy (my city) or an Illinois venue.
In the meantime, we’re considering the Cincinnati show.
PLEASE tell me that Star Wars In Concert is going to Chicago!!! My uncle’s turning 50 and my dad and I really wanted to take him to the show because we all LOVE Star Wars!

The local public TV station, WTTW 11, says it is supposed to be at the United Center in Chicago on 12/6. But, neither their web site nor the Star Wars in Concert web site show that date listed.

I just watched the Making of Star Wars in Concert on PBS. The show said it is coming to Chicago at the United Center on Dec 6, 2009 Sunday. Tickets go on sale on October 17.

This is a great event for Star Wars fans. The event will be the best this year by far.
My wife and I went on October 2nd at the Honda Center. The show was incredible! If you are able to go it is worth the price!

I took my 9 year old Daughter to the Concert in Glendale Arizona on Sunday afternoon. It was FANTABULOUS!!!! My Daughter has always been a lover of STAR WARS, but now she had a whole new appreciation for it and the music. I was able to fulfill a life long dream to hear a real symphony orchestra perform the music that helped shape my life as a young man and make me want to pursue music and film making. Thank you, George Lucas, for all you’ve done to make this world a better place through the magic of STAR WARS. Thank you, John Williams, for sharing your gift of music with all of us!!!!
