Wired magazine has chatted with everyone from Bill Gates to the Maker himself George Lucas, so they never shy away from intimidating interview subjects. So it shouldn’t surprise fans that they would go a step further and interview bounty hunter Cad Bane from The Clone Wars.
Wired reports:
Unless you’ve got a pile of money to throw at him, you’ll have no luck hiring Bane. And he’s no easier to get hold of for a simple interview. But Wired.com managed to do so without getting gunned down by his dual blasters. In fact, he was in a less-deadly mood than usual due to good business coming his way during the long galactic conflict.
“I don’t suffer fools easily, so I prefer to work alone. People in my line of work don’t care much for socializing. Sometimes the job demands that I work with specialists, and that’s when other folks come in handy. But make no mistake: I call the shots.”
Bane has no personal recollections of the late Jango Fett, but he confesses that the Republic’s clone armies, generated from Fett’s genetic code, have given him “no end of trouble.” He hears rumors of Fett’s son (Boba) perhaps taking up his father’s business, but he’s not concerned.
“I don’t have time to keep track of every little whelp in the galaxy,” Bane said. “I’m the best there is. If he doesn’t get into my business, I won’t get into his. I’d be happy to track him down — but it’ll cost you. I don’t work for free.”

Bane sorta reminds me of the OLD Boba but he isn’t better than a mandalorian, period. many hunter fans might say “OH he so better than the fetts OH he can kill a fett .” but your very very very wrong so I wouldn’t go there at all ……… EVER

Bounty hunters are starting to lose their coolness because they’ve been overdone in recent Star Wars fare (too much of a good thing). I find this Cad Bane a lame attempt to replace Boba Fett. Despite all the hype he does nothing for me as a character, and I find his voice annoying.

I think Cad Bane is definetly a force to be reckoned with, however the only contradiction I have with him is that he is somewhate sloppy in his work. He is able to escape unnoticed, but he decides to end with a boom. However, I don’t know whom would win in a battle Boba or Bane?
If Boba and Bane DO fight, it’ll be 100% BANE that’s on top, PERIOD.
If he’s not then there’s something wrong with George Lucas, though Bane’ll stay probably until the season 2 finale, if you read their article about Season 2.
Even though I really, really, REALLY dig Boba, I have to agree with you on that one…… as of then Boba wouldn’t have been that experienced. But again I say that Boba Fett deserves an interview, and maybe not only shaak ti but what if they did one with Aayla Secura? On Luminara Unduli? Think of all the possibilities!

Okay, remember those of you who watched “Cargo of Doom” where Bane’s left arm gets injured? Well, if you watched carefully, Denal, the clone who “killed” Bane was holding his left arm. Also his voice was deeper. AND, the other clone with Denal wasn’t present. Why?
My theory: Bane killed Denal and the other clone, dressed one of the two up as himself, and put on Denal’s outfit. The Emo One was so preoccupied he didn’t notice the vocal change, and we see in a trailer that Bane’s in a clone trooper outfit.
REALLY? WHAT EPISODE WILL EVERYONE SEE HIM AGAIN? THE NEXT ONE
because some how they got that cube thing that cad stole SO THAT MEANS HE IS ALIVE

And apparently, Boba (or Mandos of SOME sort) appear in Season 2. Either the EU Boba pulls a “Star Trek ‘09″ and goes to the past w/ his cloned homies, or Jango had a long lost brother.
