Comments on: George Lucas Honored at Siskel Center

I just found two new films of star war one is called “rule of the fallen” and the other one is “revelations”, I was wondering why these films were never at the theaters? If I would have known there were more starwars movies I would have seen them but for some reason these films have made it through other chanels. I would love to see more films like star war in the future as they are awsome. Films that deal with space travel and sabor fighting are a big draw at the box office. We want to see more of the special effects and new ideas rather then remakes of older movies. Have all the writers run out of thier own Ideas? The movies are getting worce rather then better.

Thank for helping us be aware of this event. You us fans are always interested in all things Star Wars and all things George Lucas. Also, the coverage of the event by the Force-Cast was great! Cool interview with the notorious GL himself!

George definitely deserves this award! He has influenced the film industry the way the Beatles influenced music. (He is the walrus! Goo goo ga joob!)

I am also gratified that he would give an interview to the Force Cast’s Jimmy Mac. The Force Cast is fan-based media, and I’m glad to see that someone as important as George can be a part of something that is so important to us fans.

George, continue to drop by every once in a while to get some insightful, fun input from people who’s lives you changed.

What a great night!
“Honor to whom honor is due.” A fitting way to commend our beloved George Lucas by allowing him to again reinFORCE his principle that anyone can change their destiny, live their dreams, and/or make a difference. He did it, he made a movie about it (I think I saw that one somewhere), and he continues to encourage and challenge those who see/hear him to do so as well. In typical fashion, he downplays his part with such quips as “lazy” and “fun” in regards to his commitment to excellence and incredible vision in storytelling.
Furthermore — we get a fan at heart/professional at play red carpet interview by none other than JimmyMac! It’s good to have a real fan talk to the “Maker” when most of the rest of us can’t be there.
