Starship Enterprise Destroyed by the Death Star

Just because the new Star Trek film (out this weekend) is becoming a blockbuster hit, doesn’t mean Star Wars fans can’t have a little fun. Filmmaker Michael Horn (who previously brought us Death Star over San Francisco, is at it again. But this time the Death Star has its sights on destroying Star Trek’s USS Enterprise as it hovers near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!

    Kind of horrifying. And at the same time hilarious. 100% brilliant! I’d seen the clip earlier in the day before currentTV put their paws all over it with the ad inserts, and it looked much, much better. I believe they also lowered the compression quality of the video. Oh well!

    That’s an awesome video! The stormtroopers fist bumping after the explosion is hilarious – lol. They were just chillin’ knowing the Death Star would take it out like nothin’. HA! Star Wars is the best!!!

    Given that the Death Star can blow up an entire planet, they certainly wouldn’t want to miss the target. Sure it might have been seeing still, but if the Enterprise had warped out, the troopers would have been in trouble.
