If you like Spike’s hit show The Deadliest Warrior where experts use MythBusters-like tactics and science to see what historical warrior would win in a battle against another such as Ninja vs. Spartan, or Pirate vs. Knight — then you’re going to love Spike’s new web series produced and starring one of our favorite celebrity Star Wars fans, Heroes actor Milo Ventimiglia.
The web series is called Ultradome and the premise is simple (and sounds entertaining):
The project is from Agility Studios along with Ventimiglia’s DiVide Pictures. In each three- to five-minute episode, two characters engage in a heated geek-culture debate — “Who’s tougher, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, or Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones?” — then are transported to a stadium where the duo engage in single combat using all the weaponry, skills and pop culture touchstones from their respective hero’s creative arsenal.
“My whole life has been spent engaged with friends in intellectual debate…like whether Captain Kirk is tougher than Spock or if Middle Earth is a more difficult place to live than Tatooine,” Ventimiglia said. “With Ultradome, we can bring these debates to the public and settle them in the most logical way possible: through armed combat.”
Ventimiglia said he and partner Russ Cundiff came up with the idea after putting a couple mock lightsaber battles online and envisioning how Luke Skywalker would slice and dice Mr. Spock.
The actor will appear in the first episode, which pits Star Wars vs. The Lord of the Rings. Ventimiglia will be backing Rings. but only because his co-star pleaded to represent for Star Wars.
Our money, as always, is on the Dark Lord of the Sith. Go Team Vader!
Which Star Wars character match-ups do you want to see do battle on Ultradome? Boba Fett vs. Dog the Bounty Hunter? R2-D2 vs. Doctor Who’s K-9? Tell us in the comments!

I would like to see Obi-wan with just force powers and Gandoff with his magic.
I guess the guys a Big Rock Ranch can officially declare Milo as their Nerd Of The Week.
Here are my picks:
R2-D2 vs. K-9 (from Doctor Who)
C-3PO vs. The Robot from Lost in Space
Yoda vs. Howard the Duck
Grand Moff Tarkin vs. Khan
I say River Tam vs Obi-Wan. Which is better: to see a second into the future, or to see your enemy’s mind?
boba fett vs jango fett, son vs father
