Picked up the new Sail Barge at TRU in Goodyear, AZ. I saw at least one Medal Ceremony there. They had just restocked the Red Package releases and I saw Jawas/R2 and Akbar/Nunb.
Still no sign of the Slave 1 or next wave of Red Packages to include the Grevious with 4 arms. On the look-out; let me know if anyone spots them in AZ.
I also picked up the Sail Barge and Medal Ceremony sets at TRU in Kansas City they only had the two one of each and they weren’t even in the computer to ring up. The new Red packs are starting to show up here as well.
Hey is the Slave 1 going to be a TRU exclusive or just released everywhere.
Richmond, VA, at a Target, two Walmarts and two Toys R Us’, I found virtually all of the new “red label” two-packs of figures, plus the TRUs both had Medal Ceremony sets. One TRU had leftover Rebel Assault IIs and the Pit of Carkoon. The other had leftover Snowspeeders. No Sail Barges.
I’m eager to find out when Slave I and the Ewok Attack sets are to debut. I’m particularly eager for the Ewook Attack set because I missed out on the Endor Speeder set from a few years ago and I have zero Ewoks.
During my Friday toy run I found and grabbed all the new red card GH’s (4 arm Greivous/Fisto, IG86/Thire, Yoda/ARF Trooper, Ahsoka/Goldie) at a local Target in Phoenix, AZ. Today was Star Wars day @ Comic Con. No new GH’s were unveiled
they showed the ones we knew about (Slave I and Ewok attacks) they didn’t even showed the recently spotted (and unannounced) Medal Ceremony and Jabba’s Sail Barge nor the exclusives sets that they unveiled at Toy Fair in February (Kamino and Purchase of Droids sets). I hope this is not a sign that they are planning to kill this specific line as they did with the Indiana Jones one as my heart and my little boys’ will be broken 
Hasbro managed to underwhelm GH fans at Comic Con. Maybe ASB is right. Perhaps this is the slow death of the Galactic Heroes. Slave 1 is the only real winner in the bunch among ships/sets. The rest are cool but not too dynamic. Lets hope the AT AT makes it to production before the patient flat lines.
no signs of the kamino, falcon, droids purchase or ewok attack sets at the SDCC???? anyone know why???? how did the medal ceremony and jabba sets make it to the shelves before the sets shown at TF in feb????
Aayla Secura’s Boyfriend, which Target in AZ did you find them? I’ve been all over and all I’ve been able to find is the Ahsoka/Goldie. I really need the rest for my son’s 7th birthday this coming weekend.
GH dad, the one by the Chandler Fashion Center Mall (Frye and Loop 101), also I saw them at Ahwatukee (Ray Rd West of I-10) but they fly off the shelves in a day or two so good luck. No signs of Slave I yet, I am dying to get this one. My son wants the Endor Attack set with the speeder bike and Ewok glider, it is amazing how Hasbro has reduced the value of what you get for your money as last year the endor chase set included (3) speeder bikes and at least 3 Ewoks plus Luke and troopers (@$19.99), for this new one though we are just getting one speeder bike and a couple of Ewoks with the freaking glider (@$22.99)
My Son got a new two pack of this line, and in it was a check list that showed photos of both the Slave 1 and Obi-wan’s Jedi Starfighter, a different design from Anakin’s. I haven’t found them anywhere yet, but can’t wait.

Hey guys, I’ve been going crazy looking for two packs and playsets for my nephew. I’ve had some luck on ebay (one woman was selling a bunch of figures I’ve been looking for for $2.99 each), but it’s been a mission finding stuff in stores. I’ve had a lot of luck, I found the Medal Ceremony and Jabba’s Palace at Toys R’ Us. I’m also holding onto Vader’s Tie Fighter and Dagobah Landing for his birthday. I’ve been looking out for Speeder Bike Chase, Endor Celebration, and of course the Millenium Falcon (I refuse to pay $100 on ebay, I was able to find one for $40 but it was missing the guns and dish from the top). Does anyone know a website where I can find out more information about upcoming playsets (like which ones are exclusives to a certain store or when they’re being released)?
By the way, I was able to find an extra Toys R’ Us Jabba playset (the one with Max Rebo) and a two pack with Han and Logray. GH Dad (or anyone else looking for these for your kids), if you’re interested let me know. I’ll sell them to you for store price plus whatever the shipping will be. I wish there was a site for non-collectors to buy and sell these things…

I agree with some that the “ships” are what I am after, I think we have at least one of about every character. For some reason, all of the toy manufacturers are giving you less for your money right now, I guess trying to recoup for slow sales. Sets like the Medal Ceremony and Jabba’s Sail Barge would only hold any real value to me if you didn’t plan on opening them. They really had my hopes up for the AT-AT after releasing the Snow Speeder, maybe my son will have one before high school anyway. (he’s 5 now)
Jace’s Dad – thanks for the offer. Right now all I’m missing is from the new 2 packs. I still need the new IG88 and Yoda with walking stick. I managed to pick up the one with Goldie and the other one with Grievous with 4 swords just in time for his birthday.
I usually try to keep a close eye on hasbro.com. Sometimes you can get items there you can’t find in the stores. Usually they are out of stock but i’ve been lucky a couple times.

I’d hold off on the Millenium Falcon. I thought I saw a thread that they were going to re-release it again and switch out one or two of the characters.
I try to check 2-3 of the stores when I hear releases are out. TRU, Target, Walmart. I’ve also found a couple playsets at Fry’s Marketplace when they weren’t at any of the other stores.
Is there a way to get alerts? I’d like to know as soon as someone spots that Slave I in stores or alert everyone if I spot it first.
Heh, the AT-AT will come out with next year’s line up, they couldn’t fit it in this year.
Austin, great news!!! where did it come from?
JediNews.co.uk: We’ve seen some great pictures of the new Galactic Heroes Slave I and some great new Scenes as well (Max Rebo Band, Medal Ceremony etc) will these products all be available in the UK? Also, you’ve told us previously that the AT-AT, seen at the UK and Canadian Toy Fairs earlier this year, will be delayed until 2010 – is that to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of Empire, if not will it definitely be coming next year?
Hasbro: The Galactic Heroes AT-AT was not delayed into 2010 because of the 10th Anniversary of ESB, but it’s a nice coincidence! The real reason is that we could not fit it onto the planogram with everything else we had going on this year, and double facings were needed for some of the items we had this Fall. So with nowhere to go, it went the only place it could go – off into the future. We think we shouldn’t have a problem for 2010 at this point. We would prefer it remain “mainline” (available to all retailers) but should we have difficulty with planogram space, then we will look to make it an exclusive with a key retailer. It’s an awesomely cool vehicle.
You can buy the medal ceremony and jabbas sail barge online at TRU. There are no pictures, but it says they are in stock for $24.99. Don’t just type in galactic heroes or they won’t show up. Type in medal ceremony or jabbas sail barge. Good luck!
You can find updates for all the SW toys releases (including our beloved GH’s of course) at the hasbro.com website and look for the Q&A section, it comes out about once a month. Like I posted before enyone looking for the Millenium Falcon, just wait a fe weeks as it will be re-released with Lando and Nunb and a couple of rebel troopers, you can get Han and Chewie buy buying indiviudal two-packs.
FYI: The new two packs including the four-arm general grievious are available as of this week at hasbrotoyshop.com for $6.99 + s&h. I have not seen the new gg anywhere else ( in so. calif.) but ebay. Oh and BTW, It’s official, with this years offerings, communications, and distribution: Hasbro blows!

TRU has changed their Star Wars Clone Wars displays … hopefully we will see the new cinema scenes soon! Has anyone seen or heard anything of the Purchase of the Droids or Kamino Showdown sets?
No signs of the Kamino or purchase of droids set yet. They were slated for August and as it typically happens they were delayed. The new two packs that jedi ds describes above were posted on the Entertainment Earth website, there are no pictures of them yet. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Slave I set any day now, any day now…
What happened to Anakin’s Starfighter, does anyone have any info on a release date?
Entertainment Earth Toy Store on the web are taking Pre orders with an arrival date of Oct/Nov for both Star fighters, both Endor scenes and also the Slave I.
Has anyone seen Endor Celebration yet? Release date moved again?
They pushed the Endor set to Oct/Nov. I am tired of Hasbro giving us completely incorrect on-shelf dates, even the Comic-Con presentation (given in late July) showing the GH’s sets hitting shelves during July and August (even saying “on-shelf now”). Back in Feb during toy fair, they showd them with May/June dates! that is just wrong!
Just went to Walmart .. no space on shelves for GH cinema scenes … TRU on the other hand have made lots of room … wonder if they are getting ready for their exclusives??? or for the new clone wars season 2 to begin before they restock

That the GH falcon…
Reports are coming out on the web that the following cinema scenes are starting to hit Target: Endor Celebration, Anakin’s Starfighter and Obi-Wan’s EPIII Starfighter. These were slated for May/June timeframe so again Hasbro just keeps lying to us. On a different note if you have a TJ Maxx nearby, stop by and check the toys section out, they are selling older 2007 figures for just $3.99!. I stopped by yesterday and grabbed a few 3 3/4 figs. and they had a few GH’s two-packs (Old Obi and Sandtrooper, Anakin and 501st trooper) but was not interested as I already have them. So if you are looking to add to your collection and/or missed on those, now it’s your chance!
Does anyone have the Snowspeeder? I just bought it for my son and am holding on to it for his birthday, but was curious about something. Do the GH Luke and Dek fit in the cockpit of the ship? We just got him the X-Wing fighter with Perkins and you need a hammer and a monkey-wrench to get him in the cockpit.

Found the Endor Celebration & Anakin’s Starfighter at Target …$22.79 not bad really.
Yoda’s Padawan – My son has the snowspeeder, yes both fit, the easiest way we can fit both Dak and Luke is laying down and not standing up, a big plus on the GH’s line is that it is intended for younger kids to play with them and rarely something breaks, there may be times that your kid will pull the canopy off but don’t worry just snap it back into place and boooya nothing happened! I recommend also that you have the helmet talk with your son. They tend to remove them very often and it is common that they misplaced them or loose them, so I recommend either taking away helmets and store them or tell him” please no removing helmets” just make sure your wife is not present as she would not agree with you at all and will say: “They’re only toys”
. I mean look at those helmets they are so detailed! Wedge’s is my favorite one. The ROTJ MF should be out in the next couple of months, it is NOT going to be an exclusive so you will find it everywhere.
Question for you guys, will the ROTJ Millenum Falcon be the same dimensions as the previous Falcon? Anything new with this one or will it be the same? My 2 year old has just discoverd GH and is in love so I am new to the GH scene and trying to play catchup. My friend gave us the 2004 Falcon that their daughter doesn’t play with but it’s missing the radar so we are thinking about getting the new one coming out.

sabbie. Yes the ROTJ MF is the same one as the wal-mart exlcusive from last year. It has some new red highlights painted. So it’s same vehicle with new figures. Still I have not found any of the new sets in the Phoenix area. I guess they’ll just wait ’till the holiday season to put them out.
My husband just found Anakin’s Starfighter at Target in Richmond, VA. He also checked out TRUS and says they are setting up a big Star Wars section again, but no GH’s.

Did find the CW Jedi Starfighter I was missing today so was happy with that but I still can’t find Anakin’s Starfighter or the Snowspeeder anywhere. These things are crazy hard to come across! Just thought I would mention that TRUS have the GH 2 packs on sale this week, 2 for $8.99. Not a huge savings but $4.50 is better then $6.99.
Found Han Solo’s Starfighter today at the SuperTarget in Concord, NC. They had other packs but that was the only new one. Can’t wait to get my hands on Slave I and the new General Grievous. The new ship has good detail. Still sulking over no AT-AT for 2009.

Found a snowspeeder and the ROTS Starfighter today at Target. Wish there was a place on the starfighter tfor the R4-P17 to sit instead of having it’s spot used by the mock R4 but other then that pretty cool.
