When LucasArts set out on the trailblazing journey of creating The Force Unleashed, they had multiple objectives in mind. One of the key ones was to tell a compelling story worthy of the Star Wars saga in the hitherto unexplored territory between Episode III and Episode IV. This story — the epic saga of Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice, was recognized for excellence yesterday.
Congratulations to Haden Blackman, Shawn Pitman, John Stafford and Cameron Suey who were honored with the WGA Award for outstanding achievement in Writing for Videogames. The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) announced the winners of the 2009 Writers Guild Awards yesterday in categories including screen, television, radio, news, promotional, and videogame writing. Better yet. We what the new live-action star wars series with several episodes about The Force Unleashed. I think that 10 1 hour episodes would be great!

I played TFU on the WII, XB360, and the ps3. On all the stations it was Awsome, one of the best games ever.
Great storyline, sorry lucasarts but it was a little too linear and gameplay lacked the freedom given in Jedi knight 2/3. It wasn’t a patch on jk2.

This game was so awsome I beat it in 4 days it was good. I so think they Should Make A movie out of TFU. I play it on ps2 but I also want it on the wii. I’v beaten it many time in very little time. Good job and keep up the good work guys. I’m very proud of you and hope some day I can create Star Wars games like you. I hope you can make a new game soon and mybe remake movies 4,5, and 6. Thank you George Lucas for creating the Star Wars series.

I read the novel, not the game. I concur the gamers that is a excellent game, the novel is fantastic also. perfect, all you need to do is bring the same actors from the main characters of the game, and Jimmy Smits(which plays Bail Organa) as a cameo. That would ‘ve been made the movie great. I wish it could make the movie and the game at the same time, it would it be “skyrocketed” the franchise.

Why does there need to be a sequel. Take a cue from this game and move into the stories after Endor already. Why does Lucasarts stay in the security blanket of the trilogies. KOTOR was a success and there are other characters and plots to play. (Yuhzong Vong Please)
