Star Wars shows up in the some of the most surprising places. The crew of the Steve Irwin from the Animal Planet show Whale Wars have recently been spotted wearing ome big Star Wars logos on their helmets for the episode “We are Hooligans.”

This episode of Whale Wars follows Captain Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as he and his crew aboard the Steve Irwin attempt to deter Japanese ships that hunt minke and fin whales in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary.

Paul Watson did not found Greenpeace. He worked for Greenpeace for a while, and was kicked out.

I can understand having the Rebellion insignia on this crew’s gear, since, like the Rebellion, they are terrorists.

The Imperial insignia really doesn’t belong on this ship in any way, shape or form.
