Next time you want to get excused from jury duty, try dressing like Princess Leia. In this week’s episode of the hit show 30 Rock (Season 3: Episode 2 – “Believe in the Stars”), Liz Lemon (played by Tina Fey) gets out of jury duty in Chicago by doing just that.

“I never get put on a jury. I wear my Princess Leia costume and they dismiss me immediately.”

Sure enough, she wears the classic A New Hope garb to jury duty and says in a rather bizarre accent: “I don’t think it’s really fair for me to be on a jury because I can read thoughts.” “DISMISSED!”
