I personaly have to thank Lucas for epI – without it we wouldnt have witnessed the birth and death of one of the greatest villians to ever appear in the SW saga – Darth Maul. Another saving grace was the well composed performance of Liam Neeson as Qui Gon Jinn…besides that and the most awesome saber fight [ep III's is a close second], there wasnt anything good in that movie.
They should logically have a couple of flashback episodes with Maul in this new TV series [maybe flesh out some unknown details], after all he is one of the greatest duellists in the SW saga.

I am sorry but the prequels werent that hot (and I am being polite here), I am an OT fan and OT EU Fan, however I do like the new Clone Wars (this is how the first 3 movies should have been).

Also I think Mr Pegg would be great for Star Wars, bring that breath of fresh air back that is needed.

I think that would be really cool if he wrote an episode, it would funny. Though I dissagree with his opinion about the prequels, because I love them , they’re great cinema.

I hope he gets his wish and is at least partially involved. I’m a big fan of Simon’s writing and acting (and I wouldn’t hate it if Edgar and some of Simon’s other collaborators like Jessica and Nick were involved, in some capacity).

I thought it was mighty cool that Lucasfilm sent Simon that set of the original theatrical DVDs, with the personal note.
