The “Usual Gang of Idiots” have taken on Indiana Jones in issue #490 of MAD magazine. /Film has debuted one of the spreads here in “The Top Secret ‘Indiana Jones’ Memo’ from George Lucas to Steven Spielberg.”
Check out the funny details such as the mashed potato sculpture from Close Encounters, not to mention the references to E.T., Saving Private Ryan, Hook and Gremlins.

I *was* amused how they sem to be implying that George is somehow dragging Spielberg down. I mean, this is the guy who gave us “A.I.”. He ain’t no friggin’ genius.
