Star Wars Gets ‘Sweded’

Bonnie Burton | March 17, 2008

If you’ve already caught director Michel Gondry’s film Be Kind Rewind that involves video store employees creating their own DIY versions to classic flicks like Ghostbusters and Driving Miss Daisy, then you might want to check out these fans who made their own “Sweded” version of Star Wars.

Chris Parrott and his friends used cardboard, fast food chicken buckets, a beer keg (for R2-D2) and more in a fun video they entered in the Be Kind Rewind Youtube Competition. You can see photos of all their crafty costumes and props here: Cardboard Star Wars.
