Field Report from Toy Fair: LEGO Clone Wars

A pair of Bodyguard Magna-Droids from The Clone Wars collection.
In addition to posting images of some of the new products coming from LEGO’s Toy Fair reveal last Friday, we’ve got StarWarsShop’s Matt Martin on the floor to send back images from the LEGO booth itself.
The new line based on The Clone Wars is looking better than ever, and these pictures bring a nice sense of scale and detail to the kits that’s not always apparent in the press kit imagery. Make sure to check out all the images after the jump!
The new Rogue Shadow kit from The Force Unleashed was one of the few non-Clone Wars items on display in the Star Wars section of the booth.

This battledroid just hangs on to what appears to be an upgraded STAP vehicle.

The Republic gunship no doubt will serve up some formidable brick-kicking.
This detail on the gunship shows the clever nose art we can’t wait to see on more ships from Clone Wars. This one shows a Kowakian monkey-lizard dropping a bomb.
We hope intrepid StarWarsShop reporter Matt Martin will be bringing this new friend home.

I would like it if they got in an Imperial AT-PT as a Lego and also in some Lego that they release with them Lego figures of the character Trioculus.

I believe cardiff is correct. Does anyone know who the jedi on the speeder is? and is anyone a big enough fanboy to know if the (huttese?) on the art with the monkey lizard says anything?

the jedi on the speeder is Plo Koon. You can see the face mask.
but i dont know why he’d be wielding a saber, while operating a speeder bike..

(dennis chris)-you never saw the v-19 torrent in episode II because it wasnt in it,its from the clone wars animated mini series and the new animated series. (alex cardiff), your right thats definately asoka , capt rex and anakin. and its plo koon on the speeder, filonis’ favorate charactor. I bet we see a lot of him in the new movie/ series.

it would be realy cool if they did a set of clones to buy for the gunship eg….10 white clones….2 pilots….2 red/snipers….2 green/jettroopers….and 1 commander rex oh and will all e mine soon..

I saw the newest trailer from the Clone Wars 10 minutes ago, and I can’t wait until it’s 15 August!
If I watch to the toys, I want buy everything!
I hope that we can watch the Clone Wars soon!

Couple things:
Its not Huttese its Aurebesh the written language in the Star Wars universe.
Bane: Watch the original Clone Wars series. It shows Obi-Wan on a speeder bike using his lightsaber to chop up the enemy speeders, and deflect blaster bolts.

I wish they would make a set that is made up of the jedi council so all the jedi masters would be out. That would be awsome and if they made some more clone packs with all the different types… (i.e blue, yello, red and white.)

Hasnt anyone noticed that the gunship is missing its side gunners? I feel like im going crazy here, ever where i go theres no mention of them missing, but from every picture ive seen, there isnt one hint to the gunship having its side guns anymore.
