Called “the big one” in Hasbro’s Toy Fair presentation, the new AT-TE looks to rival the classic AT-AT in terms of sheer size (ok, it’s not as tall, but certainly as cool!). Check out more AT-TE images after the jump!

  22. avatar juan says:

  23. avatar Star Wars Dad says:

I have just bought my son the new Star Wars AT-TE vehicle for $100.00. It is big, looks cool and has wheels on the bottom of the feet to allow it to roll instead of walk. The problem…. everytime you touch it/open a door the legs pop off like it just got hit by a rocket. when one falls off another falls, and pretty soon you’re lucky if one is left on. Anyone else having this problem?

  24. avatar J's Mom says:

I just bought the AT-TE vehicle for my son and we are having the same problems – legs keep falling off when you touch it. I’m thinking about returning it to the store.

  25. avatar Danoby Ortiz says:

WOW I’m glad I’m not the only one with this problem, I’ve searched through the net and it seems allot of first time buyers are having the problem with the falling legs. It’ seems with the slightest touch of the AT-TE on the side or front is enough to sever some of the legs. Another problem is the unit is so heavy it’s a pain to constantly reapply the legs. It’s looks like a major DEFECT on HASBRO”S part.
“Made in China” truly isn’t what it used to be, especially at a price tag of $100.00.

  26. avatar captan rex says:

thes things are sweet my brother got one and i loved it im going to go get one today i think it is well worth the 100 bucks its the pefect thing for my clone army now if hasbro would come out with a laat to carry it around that would be sweet hasbro has dun a grate job

  27. avatar Jedi Master says:

My son just got the AT-TE and we too had problems keeing the legs on. They apparently have a left and right side because after switching them around the legs stay on no problem.

  28. avatar Another SW Dad says:

I too am having the same issue as the others regarding the legs falling off. In response to Jedi Master, I’ve followed the instruction for L and R sides. Even switched them just for fun. Same problem. Maybe I’m expecting too much from a $100 toy.

  29. avatar chris says:

I am going to purchase one and put it on my desk at work.

  30. avatar SW Boy1977 says:

Question for Hasbro, any news on the other vehicles, Spider Walker, Millenium Falcon, Spaceships?

  31. avatar rene says:

I think we should get some relief from lucas. We are all loyal fans and the quality of this walker really let us down great looking toy but horrible quality.

  32. avatar Jon says:

How is it fair that the Star Wars AT-TE costs $100 in the US and £100 in the UK.

  33. avatar Danoby Ortiz says:

I’ve fixed the issue plaguing my AT-TE in which the legs keep falling off. I used Mighty Putty!! and yes it does work! Not only does it work but the legs can rotate and it is extremely hard to pull them back off!!
it’s sure beats looking around for a piece of plastic tubing that has to be the right size and dimension.
the trick is using the right amount in the joint of the actual leg. Not too much and not to little.

i was having this problem too but now you can shake it as hard as you want and the legs stay on purfectly well i hopes this helps any parents out

  35. avatar star wars collecter says:

i have seen two types of at te’s and I know where to get the red one but how about the blue one

  36. avatar GONZALO MALDONADO says:

ITS A DAMN SHAME THEY HAVENT PUT OUT A GENERAL GREVIOUS STARFIGHTER IN SCALE 1:32 !!!!!

  37. avatar Dan says:

hey star wars dad, here is a solution to your leg problem: take the center leg off, and set it aside. grab a pencil, and cut off the eraser. then, stick the pencil in between the three prongs, and cut it off. it allows articulation, but it is hard to knock it off.

  38. avatar REDWOLFDW says:

I’m thinking about buying a AT-TE and was wondering if they fixed the leg problem an if the AT-TE is motorized?

  39. avatar BIGcwfan says:

I was thinking about getting 1 AT-TE for xmas for only £74.99 ! Would it be worth it ??

  40. avatar john says:

cool! i already have that and a new at te assult squad.

  41. avatar Mark Whittington says:

We would like to warn parents about the AT-TE toy. We bought this Star Wars AT-TE for our son for his main Christmas present. It was an extremely expensive (over $100.00 item), but he really, really wanted it, so we caved. Unfortunately, his surprise and joy was short lived as the toy did not work. The legs do not stay on and the door clips will break. It is made in China and very poor quality. What was supposed to be a very exciting time became a verydisappointing experience for our child at Christmas.

  42. avatar Teresa says:

My son recieved one for Christmas and keeps getting mad because the legs fall off.

  43. avatar michael calle says:

From all the Hasbro toys I’ve seen (besides the Millennium Falcon) the AT-TE is the coolest toy I’ve ever seen. I am pretty impresed

  44. avatar Janette says:

I also brought this toy for my son for Christmas and he is 7. He gets so mad because the legs fall off all of the time. I thought about contacting Hasbro about it to see if in fact this is a defect. My husband has said that he is going to superglue the legs on. My son played with it for about 25 minutes and has not played with it since because of the legs falling off. He keeps saying that it is broke! My son has everything you could think of Star Wars. We have spent so much money on these toys. I wish they made the toys like they use to. Nothing came apart. Everytime we get him a new guy, I have to take all of the little parts that come with it and put it in container that I keep all of that stuff in. I have at least 3 containers full of the little stuff. They need to make this stuff so that the kids can actually play with it and not only for the adults that collect it and keep it in the container for years to come. If anyone has any information about contacting Hasbro about this ship, I would greatly appreciate that information. I have greatly disappointed with this toy, especially for the price of it. Believe me, we have spent hundreds on ships for him and it seems that all of them have parts that won’t stay on, but I was hoping that this was the last of the ships that I was going to have that problem with. JUST MAKE THE TOYS SIMPLE FOR KIDS!!!! They don’t need all of that extra stuff. Yes, it looks cool at first (in the box) but when they actually play with it, they don’t care about all of the other gagets. My husband as all of his star wars stuff from when he was a kid and my son plays the old star wars toys more than he does the new stuff because they are all in one peice.

  45. avatar BOOMER says:

NEWS: HASBRO IS SENDING OUT REPLACEMENT LEGS.

800-255-5516 is the number to call. The AT-TE is a known manufacturing issue, so says Hasbro. Mine will be here in 7-10 days. Good luck!

  46. avatar DarenG says:

It doesn’t last. Even the replacement legs get worn very fast and your back to the same problem as before. Legs popping off. This isn’t the first time I have questions Hasbro’s quality as of late. I am afraid Hasbro doesn’t know what it means to make a quality toy any longer.

  47. avatar John says:

Great! Something to look forward to on the legs. My problem is that when I put it together, guess what, I had two of the RL legs instead of one and missing the front RF front leg! I hope Hasbro can replace that leg and maybe all of them if there is that much trouble?

  48. avatar Lisa says:

Yep – same problem. Legs falling off and doors flying open – the things that shoot from the “guns” getting lost and the batteries wear out in 2 days – and that’s not even using it all the time.
What a waste of money. I’ll never buy hasbro again. Ever. Tonight I will attempt to glue the legs on perminately. My son is so excited he may get to play with it again. He got it for his birthday and got may be 2 days play of it. He had asked for it for a year! I got it on sale for $70 or it would never have entered my home!

  49. avatar Captain Rex says:

THIS WALKER OF MINE DOES NOT FALL TO PIECES!!! This walker needs to come with a (LATT\c) and a AT-XT if you ask me. If you are wondering why it needs to come with a AT-XT is because the AT-XT comes with a plasma shield.
