Star Wars Exhibit #1 in London
August 6, 2007
Even though Star Wars: The Exhibition in London has been going for three months, it’s still extremely popular with European crowds – so popular, in fact, that it just landed the number one position in “The top 20 family days out this summer” posted at telegraph.co.uk. Here’s an excerpt:
It used to be Ken Livingstone who stalked the long corridors of County Hall; now (till December), it’s Darth Vader and gang. While not cheap, this exhibition does have the priceless stamp of authenticity; everything here is from the George Lucas archives. There’s R2D2, C-3PO, the Naboo N-1 Starfighter, along with costumes, props and vehicles from Tatooine, Coruscant, Mustafar and more; plus light-sabre tuition from a Jedi knight.
This exhibit is now running through December. You can check out the full story here, and the official Star Wars: The Exhibition site here.

I went to this exhibition while I was at Celebration Europe and I have to say that is so cool to see the various actual props, models, costumes and vehicles fir real!
The exhibition is an education. It gave me a moment of pride when I heard a young girl learning the names of all the characters with her father.
Star Wars really IS forever!
