A new school year has started and many young Padawans are taking Star Wars to school with them. Star Wars backpacks, lunchboxes, water bottles, binders, and folders. Most of these items feature the male characters of Star Wars, leaving us fangirls to get crafty if we want something featuring female Star Wars heroines and/or villains. I got this idea from fellow fangirl Kristen, who posted this photo of her first grader’s school binder on my Her Universe Facebook page.
Right when I got to Skywalker Ranch, I saw many of my friends from the Golden Gate Garrison from the 501st Legion! Star Wars has AMAZING fans and I am honored to know so many great men and women who donate their time via the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion. These fan organizations play a huge role in bringing Course of the Force to life! They bring smiles to so many faces.
Being the voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars has truly changed my life. It’s given me the opportunity to do so many amazing things, and one of the opportunities I’m most thankful for has been the chance to co-host Disney’s Star Wars Weekends, which I’ve done for the past five years. I had a blast this summer with my fellow cast mate, James Arnold Taylor, as we spent a month at Disney World meeting fans and celebrating Star Wars!
I took SO many photos and thought I would share some of my favorites. Check them out after the jump!
Wow! I am so excited that Ahsoka made it to the Sixteen Strikes Back round! Thank you to everyone who voted last week but now she REALLY needs your help because this IS madness! The fact that Ahsoka is up against Chewbacca in this March Madness competition makes me a little mad because I LOVE Chewbacca! However, after having a chance to chat with Chewbacca at WonderCon this past weekend, we brokered a deal and agreed that Ahsoka should win this one ;o)
AHSOKA NEEDS YOUR HELP! PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AND PLEASE VOTE TODAY! #VOTEAHSOKA

By now, I’m sure you’ve all had a chance to digest what happened in the Season Five finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It was very emotional and like I teased all season long, I’m sure you now have more questions than answers about what happened and what’s going to happen next.
Imagine being in my position, having to keep this a secret for so long! The suspense has been killing me! We recorded these last four episodes a year ago and I was definitely shocked when Dave Filoni told me that Ahsoka was going to walk away from the Jedi Order. It took me awhile to digest this news and I clearly remember, like it was yesterday, when it finally hit me that Ahsoka’s life and my life was changing forever. Dave Filoni sent me an email about recording the final scene with Matt Lanter. The word “final” hit me like a ton of bricks. We’ve been recording The Clone Wars for seven years now. I’ve grown extremely fond of my time in the recording studio, especially getting to record the scenes between Anakin and Ahsoka with Matt. They had become routine, commonplace and when I realized that the final scene of the season was the final scene with Ahsoka and Anakin, it broke my heart. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for that change.
We released this new Star Wars by Her Universe quote tee just in time for Valentine’s Day. No, this is not a shameless plug for our new shirt…it’s my hope for all of us this Valentine’s week. I hope that each one of you has a Valentine in your life, someone you love. It could be your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend, mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, neighbor, co-worker…I think you get the point. Valentine’s Day is not just a romantic holiday, but a holiday to show someone in a completely platonic way, how much you care and how much they mean to you.
