Celebrities, stormtroopers and even R2-D2, came out in full Force for the San Francisco screening of Fanboys, courtesy of GenArt, on Feb. 4. Director Kyle Newman, screenwriter Ernie Cline, along with Fanboys cast members Jaime King, Chris Marquette, and Dan Fogler answered questions at the screening from fans.

Here’s some highlights from the Fanboys Q&A:
* There was once talk of a Fanboys sequel where Linus returns as an Obi-Wan ghost, and the gang head to Australia for the filming of Attack of the Clones. To get to Australia the fanboys take a cruise and don’t realize until it’s too late that they are trapped on a Trekkie cruise. Hilarity ensues.
* The cast were all Star Wars fans from the beginning, but no one could match director Kyle Newman’s own trivia knowledge.
* When the cast filmed at Skywalker Ranch, they had to shoot multiple takes of the glorious Star Wars decorated van up and down Lucas Valley Road. Because the van stands out (R2-D2 dome on roof) the local police followed them around to make sure they weren’t crazy fans trying to break into Skywalker Ranch. Ironic, no?
