The word summit isn’t usually very exciting, but add “Hollywood” and “Games” to it, and suddenly, you’ve got our attention. The Games Developer Conference and Hollywood Reporter are teaming up to put on the 2nd Annual Hollywood Games Summit, with heavyweights from both ends of the ever-blending spectrum of games and movies. It’s not exactly a stroll-in-on-a-whim affair, as it’s geared for professionals and movers and shakers shaping the industry, but there’s bound to be some interesting news and soundbites coming from the event on Tuesday, June 26th.

Here’s a pertinent snippet from the programming:

This discussion, moderated by Newsweek editor N’Gai Croal, joins two of the leading voices in the field that have extensive experience working between the industries: Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm.
Panelists: Jim Ward, SVP Lucasfilm/President LucasArts; Neil Young EVP Electronic Arts/GM EALA. Moderator: N’Gai Croal, Newsweek
